Easy Fruit Tarts

1 tube cresent rolls

1 8 oz. pkg cream cheese

1/2 C powdered sugar

1 can pie filling

1/2 tea almond extract (if using cherry pie filling) vanilla on others

Flatten out the dough sealing seams and perforations, cut into 4″ circles, place in greased muffin cups. Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar, place a generous tablespoon in the cups, finish filling cups with pie filling. Bake 12 minutes at 375 degrees.

If you use lemon pie filling add 1 TB of butter and 1 TB of lemon juice to the filling to give it a kick. Dust with powdered sugar after you take it out of the oven.

Another way to do this recipe is to flatten the dough in a 7″ x 10″ pan then top with the cream cheese mixture then fruit.  Bake the same.
